Troy ’s experience in the golf course business started shortly after playing basketball and graduating from Columbia College , working as a Golf Professional at Blackhawk Country Club, Castlewood Country Club and San Jose Country Club.  During his tenure as Golf Professional, Troy organized numerous travel and golf events for hundreds of golfers and actually operated the PGA Senior Tour Pro-AM event in Hawaii for 3 years.

Starting in 1998, Troy ’s golf career shifted from Golf Professional to focusing on golf course design and development.  His first completed project, Salmon Run Golf & Wilderness Preserve near Brookings, has been highly acclaimed for its success as a masterful blend of golf within a sensitive environmental area.  During the last several years, Troy has developed valuable experience in golf course property evaluation and feasibility studies; golf course routing and planning; property and project entitlements and project financing.  Troy is a valued and significant member of our golf course design team.
