My career as Designer in the US and in the international golf market over the past 25 years has produced golf courses in every imaginable climate and type of terrain. My staff’s unique blend of design and construction experience has led to our distinction as a group that knows how to meet all project goals. We are pleased to offer Fred Couples or Gene Bates Signature design and delighted to announce a new member of our design group, Australian-born, British Open Champion and ABC/ESPN analyst, Ian Baker-Finch.

This collaboration of competitor and designer creates the highest level of focus available for outstanding integrity in golf course design. It is this blending of disciplines that creates quality golf course designs. Couples Bates Design offers a variety of design services, from initial concept to finished product. Our objective is to design courses that challenge, yet are uniquely memorable as a great round of golf.
